Crescat can detect and highlight URLs and email addresses in the terminal portion of its windows. Clicking on the highlighted URL or address will open your chosen web browser or email client to access it. Use this panel of the Preferences window to turn these features on and off, and to set the highlight colors.
The settings in this panel affect all open session windows. The sample text in the center-right portion of the panel demonstrates the effect of the current setting.
Turn detection of URLs or email addresses on (or off) by setting (or clearing) the respective checkbox at the top of this panel.
You can set the color used in highlighting URLs or email addresses by clicking on the respective color well at the top of this panel. Note that the chosen color is used as the outline color of the highlight marking; if the chosen color is “light,” the highlight will be filled with a lighter tint of the chosen color; if the chosen color is “dark,” the highlight shape will be solidly colored with the chosen color.
The Sample Text Color and Sample Background color settings affect only the color of the sample area in this panel, so you can see how the chosen URL and email highlight colors will appear in various color schemes. They have no other effect.
